Cakes, cards and celebrations

From 1st – 7th June, National Volunteer’s Week was celebrated across the UK.

Celebrations in our charity shops were in full swing, giving staff the opportunity to thank our volunteers for their hard work and commitment, and encouraging new volunteers to sign up.

The marketing team provided the shops with posters and bunting to decorate their shops and let customers know about the event. Maxine, Volunteer Coordinator, organised for all shops to hold a Tea Party for their volunteers and for all volunteers to receive a ‘thank you’ card.

The week was a great success: lots of cake was consumed, new volunteers were signed up and existing volunteers were reminded how important they are to us!
